WestJet to Deploy Innovative Cabin Amenity
HAMBURG, GERMANY – April 10, 2018 – Skycast Solutions, a leader in portable inflight entertainment and airline tablet holder solutions, today announced at the Aircraft Interiors EXPO that WestJet will be trialing Skycast’s low cost tablet holder solution for inflight use. The “TabCaddy Clip™” is custom designed to attach securely to the airline meal tray and provides passengers a convenient way to store and view their personal electronic device (PED). The removable ‘Clip’ is designed to accommodate all sizes of smart phones and tablets.
The offering will provide WestJet with a low cost option to accommodate the flood of PEDs being brought onboard by their guests. WestJet is deployiing the Clip on five of their 737 aircraft and will evaluate a fleet-wide deployment based on guest feedback.
